Basic IsiZulu Language Studies module is aimed at equipping students with basic knowledge for IsiZulu grammar and cultural aspect. This module is for non-mother tongues, and by the end of the Semester students should be able to at least engage in some form of writing or even speaking basic IsiZulu. 

Warm welcome to the ZULN101W2 module, this module is designed to equip students with basic IsiZulu Language both for writing and speaking. By the end of the Semester you should be able to read, write and speak some elementary IsiZulu Language. 

This module is aimed at providing basic grammatical and historical aspects of IsiZulu. It is mostly designed for non-Nguni speakers and the University policy has declared it compulsory (for non-Nguni Speakers). However, the actual aim is to ensure that non-Nguni speakers exit the module having acquired elementary communication with Zulu to assist them to communicate with majority of isiZulu speakers in KwaZulu-Natal and beyond. We hope that you enjoy the module this year 

This is the module designed for non-Nguni speakers. The main aim is to acquire elementary skills to communicate and to write in Zulu. The module is also compulsory to anyone who is a non-Nguni by origin (i.e. Zulu, Xhosa, Swati & Ndebele)
